| One hot July evening Port City Paranormal drove up the dirt road to see this stately home in Pender County. The home was built in the early 1700's and was the Home of many Family gatherings. The house has endured slavery and the Civil War, Disease and death. This family home has been rumored to be haunted and the family living there had us investigate. One of our group had done the history and gathered information we would need after our investigation. |
| Doug and Tony led two teams of investigators and trainees for this investigation. We thank the family for allowing us to train new members that evening. It was hot and very humid with no solar activity reported during our vigil. The house is large but on that still night,we had to maintain silence while moving about the house. We timed our EVP sessions to avoid contamination of evidence. After doing a complete emf and temperature sweep, we began the investigation. During our vigil, a few of the team had personal experiences of being touched and feeling breath on their cheeks. Although some members heard whispers, no audio evidence was obtained. Not this time!
